TEACHING AND RESEARCH FACULTY

Theodore H. Kittell, PhD, JD, DLitt, Chief Academic Officer

Eunice H. Reynolds, EdD, Dean

A graduate program offering a doctorate requires qualified research advisors as well as instructors. Full-time faculty members are under contract with either a full-time teaching or research advising load. In order to prepare for future growth it is necessary for a graduate school to attract and cultivate faculty before they are needed full-time. These individuals are in two categories: permanent/part-time and/or part-time. Permanent/part-time faculty members are under contract with a teaching or research load less than full-time. Part-time faculty members teach or mentor students as needed. The year of appointment is listed [1982] demonstrates the ability of OGS to attract and retain qualified faculty.
