BRYAN COLLEGE, DAYTON TENNESSEE
The Graduate School has a cordial relationship with Bryan
College. In the early days, Oxford Graduate School used classroom and dorm space on
Bryan's campus. The first five Degree Day ceremonies were in the
auditorium of Bryan College and Oxford Graduate School maintains an interactive
contract with Bryan's library.
UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD, UNITED KINGDOM
After a decade of academic relationship building with the
University of Oxford, in the United Kingdom, Oxford Graduate
School/American Centre for Religion/Society Studies, submitted
an application for Centre Accreditation. On January 16, 1992,
the Secretary of the Delegacy of Local Examinations at the
University of Oxford announced that the Delegates had approved
the appointment of the institution as a Centre for examinations.
The name and number given were Oxford Graduate School #10101.
Oxford/ACRSS may provide qualified students, approved by the
Faculty Senate, access to the graduate library (Bodleian) in
Oxford, UK. The Centre provides research guidance for faculty,
students, and members of the Oxford Society of Scholars when in
the United Kingdom. The January Reading and Research Seminars,
held annually since 1984 during University Hilary Term, are
coordinated by Oxford/ACRSS in cooperation with the Bodleian
Library, the University Department for Continuing Education--Rewley
House, and the UK Secretary for the Oxford Society of Scholars.
Classes, rooms, and board are at Rewley House, with supplemental
housing at St Michael's Guest House. The Society of Scholars
meets for forums and ceremonies at St. Michael's Centre,
Worcester College, and Rewley House.
Although Oxford Graduate School has cordial links with various departments and
Colleges of the University of Oxford, Oxford Graduate School has no formal
connection with the University.
