Tennessee Higher Education Commission
Tennessee law, under which Oxford Graduate School was
chartered and authorized to operate as a degree granting
institution, required progress toward accreditation using
the standard of an appropriate accreditation agency. Annual
reviews by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission have
resulted in compliance with the law since 1983. This
authorization is renewed each year and is based on standards
concerning quality of education, ethical business practices,
health and safety, and fiscal responsibility. The
state-approving agency has annually reviewed the academic
program leading to the MLitt and DPhil degrees. Eligible
veterans enrolled in either the master's or doctoral studies
may receive benefits. The graduate program has been approved
for the training of veterans since 1985. |
